The welding output is surprising from such a small and portable machine. As well as being designed for use for TIG welding it can also be used for MMA applications because of its high open circuit voltage.
The machine is easily switched between DC and AC mode to suit the material being welded and the welding current can be pulsed in either AC or DC mode, allowing precise control of the weld pool.
The operator can use either 2 or 4 stroke latching depending on the application in hand and current pulse function allows for close control over heat input.
When welding in AC mode, the waveform balance and frequency control can be adjusted to create a perfect weld profile and arc geometry.
The electrode pre-heat function means the tungsten electrode tip profile is prolonged in applications requiring frequent starts.
An adjustable slope-down allow weld craters to be eliminated to guarantee a sound weld bead at the end of the weld cycle.
